Recounts and Ramblings #14

Okay, so recently not many things happened, just some small stuffs to update about my life. I don't even get why I'm updating random people about what's going on in my life. I'm just writing it because there's nothing better to type and I like typing stuff o.o

So anyway, I shall start from last Thursday's lesson. Mark bought for me the shirt I painted. I was pretty surprised when he first said he bought it for me :) And we did some quizzes on "how criminal are you" and "what kind of criminal are you". Apparently, I'm borderline criminal and I'm a delusional serial killer. Be careful of me, I may mistake you as an ant and step on you because I'm delusional. But that doesn't make sense because I don't kill ants. See, I'm so kind. I know you agree.

Either that or you're spitting at your screen now.

Friday's ISPP pitch kind of sucked. I was supposed to be the Chinese entrepreneur suggesting solutions to the health scare problem, but I ended up being unsure how to conclude my sentences and winged them by making judgemental statements like "the China people are very profit-driven" and "the entrepreneurs are inhumane". Feel so politically-wrong.

After that was RIT lesson. Filming. Grouped with Cong Xu and Joey. Cong Xu was mock feng shui master. He said "this gate is the gateway to hell" and random stuff like that o.o Joey was a soccer coach or something, and she said stuff like "the ball is me and I am the ball" o.o I was a chef whose grandma's final wish was for me to open a restaurant. Quite an entertaining lesson. Tiring though :/

Played Uno stackos with Stefanie, Cong Xu and Hazel after that, and then had a small chat in fc5 while they had dinner/lunch. I met up with JT after that for gym and dinner. Drank poison near her house.

Saturday was pretty interesting. Went to JT's house to do MMA training. Guang Yi taught us. After that, played Cluedo. It's actually so much simpler than the instruction book seemed o.o

Watched the Olympic opening in the weekend. The lighting of the cauldron was spectacular. Speaking of the olympics, I had been watching some table tennis and random sports like synchronised diving and rowing. Quite interesting. I was rooting for Feng Tian Wei and Wang Yue Gu again this year, but Tian Wei met with a difficult opponent in the semi-finals, and Yue Gu lost as well :(

So this week had been a lot less eventful. Monday: CP1 editing (argh... so tedious!), NWG lesson about journalism ethics, and gym with JT and Guang Yi. Tuesday: DS (did comedy scripts and web series). Wednesday: Today.

On Tuesday, we formed groups and watched different web series. I grouped with Cong Xu and Mei Jun. We chose "Easy to Assemble" and it ended up hilariously stupid. First time we watched, our face was this: >;( Second time we watched the same episode, we were so cracked up by the stupidity that our face became this: ;} The show kind of brainwashes you.

Today: CPD was fine. Mostly consultation. I like how Swee Lin conducts her consultation. She talks like your characters really exist and addresses them by their names :) Most other lecturers just call the characters "the guy", "the hero", the taxi driver" or stuff like that. And it's like she fully understands what direction I want my story to go.

Adventure was kind of hazardous. Something went wrong during Pascal's climb again. His harness kind of fell off, but he survived by climbing downwards slowly. Best final lesson about safety. Both he and I (climber and belayer) should have checked that he did that double thing to his harness. After that, everyone else became so paranoid about their safety equipments.

Today had been really tiring. Did editing as well in between CPD and Adventure. Could fall asleep really easily. I'm so glad I quit MMA for it would be crazy if I had to go straight after Adventure. Frankly, I felt so free ever since I quit.

Recently I downloaded Maple Story again. Playing with Cong Xu and Joey. All the maplestory memories coming back :)
