This week had been more relaxed than last week, though production of our meet cute script was rather tedious. I shall just summarise day by day.
Monday
We did not have content production 1 (CP1) lesson because it's a filming week. My group met up before journalism 1 (NWG) for last-minute pre-production planning. We did nothing much in NWG, just got our CA10 and consulted Ms Fei Wan on our ideas/opinions. I'm doing an article on work-life balance, but I feel like changing it to the ever-so-cliched education system topic because I am more enthusiastic about that topic.
Met up with Guang Yi for dinner after that. He accompanied me to buy some stuff, and we chatted over gong cha at "the awkward place". Felt really tired and headed back home after that.
Tuesday
Scriptwriting class. Comedy again. Wrote a scene for Phua Chu Kang. Comedies can be nice to write at times, but I don't like PCK. But I have to admit Stella did a good job in her script for that episode she showed us in class.
Wednesday
Had CPD. Swee Lin discussed a little about our CA2 paper, the analysis part. I'm doomed. I misinterpreted the character's secretly wanting his wife to vanish as him being careless :( And I misinterpreted his preparation for final battle as him forgetting that his wife fear snakes :( But I guess everyone have different perspectives, and that all perspectives are golden! Sparkles*
But anyway, wrote beats for our CA10. My story is full of people dying and taking revenge. But hopefully it's a lot better than my previous one. Drew inspiration from Naruto, the whole "want to save his best friend from the dark side" thing.
My CP1 group went to recce the locations. Then I had an interview with the cheese fries stall owner from fc3. Did the POEMS observation thing too. Quite interesting. Hopefully have stuff to write about, don't want to end up like NWG in which I just throw in all the little details.
Had SFL after that. Rock climbing. The usuals, but when I was belaying Pascal, I let him come down too fast and ended up flying upwards. Luckily I remembered what the instructor taught us about putting our feet on the wall under such circumstances. And even more luckily someone came and help! I feel so sorry for the whole thing.
Thursday
Started with Mark's PPS today. Apparently for CA10, we're supposed to write a "manual"/book about a society we create :/ Sounds intimidating. Wonder who I'm going to group with.
Had the filming after that. It was pretty intense, the whole responsibilities and people issues. We were pretty noisy, but the other people in the library were pretty noisy too. A request for silence became a blame of who's noisier. But this is to be expected from filming, I guess.
I was feeling rather bad about being slightly over-controlling. Really have to learn to let go of things that are not mine, and also trust my teammates. Trust is just something I have a problem with. I feel I was being intense and overly serious too. Shall just relax, be light-hearted, and take things less seriously in tomorrow's shoot, and of course in general.
