It's so fast - already near the end of week 2 of the holiday already. The second week had been rather interesting but at the same time I kind of fell sick.

Watched/read 

Watched 2 animes this holiday: Mirai Nikki and Baka to Test. Continued reading yankee-kun to megane-chan. Watched Lost's season 1 and I'm intending to watch season 2, because it's nice.

Mirai Nikki is called "future diary" in English. 12 people who are granted specialised diaries that predict the future participate in a killing game in which the winner becomes God. The main character (Yukki) is an annoying coward who cries and cries. He became even more annoying in the end when he became really cruel. Then he has an ultimate hardcore and maniac stalker called Yuno. Yuno is willing to kill anyone she suspects of being a threat to Yukki, and she knows what he is doing every 10 minutes. A really twisted girl. Here's a picture of her:

Baka to Test is just a comedy set in a school whereby class discrimination is super obvious and there's this exam system in which students summon "summoned beings" to fight one another's summoned beings. How strong the beings are depend on how good their results are.

Both are interesting, but Mirai Nikki is nicer because it's more intense. In the meantime, I've grown to love yankee-kun to megane-chan's characters, which I'm maybe going to blog about next time.

But simply:

The main character is called Shinagawa Daichi. He's a delinquent who slowly becomes enthusiastic about living a "normal high school life" or something like that. And then there's this retarded girl who becomes his best friend, and she was an ex-delinquent. It's funny how idiotic these 2 characters can get. And of course there are other characters.

Another show I watched is Lost. It's about people from a flight being stuck in an island. It's a simple premise but the show is really nice and somewhat complicated. Keeps me excited and there's constant suspense.

Mehmehs

Recently went to have dinner at Ru Wen's mum's shop and drank alcohol apple cider and one mouthful of sake. And just from that I managed to get tipsy. Not a drinker.

Played Donkey/old maid, cai quan, and I Never. Drank as penalties and stuff. Quite fun, but I kept on getting worried that I wasn't behaving normally.

Oh, and before that we went to Guang Yi's house. Drew stuff, read manga, watched some random videos, and played cards as well. Also had penalties, except it was lemon juice. Taste like sour bomb, the sweet.

CASS carnival

Recently the DTVM group started working on the CASS carnival. Haunted house. It's exciting to see our idea slowly becoming reality. On Wednesday, we planned the final route and planned the props, scare stations, and details like the music. The marketing people also started work. Did measurements, finalise planning, and decided on music and stuff.

Today, we went to Dhoby to shop for props. Went to spotlight first, and realised everything there were too expensive and we were seriously under-budget. Moved on to Daiso and got a few things before going to party shops in bugis for more, followed by Popular and Art Friends in bras basah. Just need few things more and the extra details. Going to start the design of the room soon. Wonder how this is going to turn out, never done a haunted house before :)
