I like my current blogskin, actually. I don't mind sticking to it, but I just feel like doing some photoshopping and HTML-ing and giving my blog another new look. But if I screw up, I'll end up changing my blogskins often because I'll get sick of them fast. It's safer to keep to this. Plus, I have no idea what I want to change it into, like what picture to use and stuff. Shall see how.
But anyway, recently I've been a really studious person by doing CAs on many days. I did more last week because of the tight deadlines. This week was slightly more relaxing, and next week is probably going to be easier. Provided that the CA10s don't come and shout in our faces "haha! I'm here to ruin your break and you only have 2 weeks to do us all!" Actually, I really think that will be the case, especially PPS and RIT, which we haven't even handed in the CA2 yet.
Went to watch Spiderman this Wednesday. It was awesome~ I like the actors and actresses' acting, the aesthetic of the show (I'm unconsciously analysing - mid-shot, close-up, rule of third, depth of field, blablabla) o.o I'm actually doing that more than analysing the inciting incident and all those writing stuff, because those I have to dwell further in, which will ruin the watching.
But anyway, it's great. If you haven't watch it, go and watch.
Tuesday's class is about comedy. Had an activity in which we had to form pairs to impress our classmates by being funny. Some people were seriously creative. Wai Meng and I did two pretty lame things, but at least we did it :D I don't know why, but that lesson kind of make me want to write comedy script next time :S
Actually, come to think of it, I really like my course in all areas. I like the filming aspect, the creative writing aspects (especially for drama), the journalism aspect, and even the research soemtimes :/ Usually I just become interested in things after going through them for awhile with people I like or people I'm fine with. The same went for studying. Believe it or not, I used to enjoy studying. Maybe I'm actually a super flexible person who can enjoy everything provided that I make friends :D Or maybe not.
No class on Wednesday. Skipped SFL to attend this fundraising event in which we painted shirts. Here's a picture of my shirt:
I was pretty unsatisfied with it, but some people said it looked good, so I'm quite happy :)
Thursday was pretty much do-CA day. Had psychology presentation. Tiring day. Kept doing CA, CA, CA. But the presentation went fine. Better than I expected. People actually laughed at points which were supposed to be funny and I was seriously surprised when they actually followed our instructions in doing a quiz :)
It was kind of interesting listening to the rest of the presentations as well, just that it went on too long till we exceeded by 40 minutes or so. I heard that the next two modules for this dip-plus will be 4 hours instead of 3 hours, and they will end at 10pm D:
Friday was another packed day. Started with GenEd, and then went to Gardens By The Bay for interview lesson. Had this race thing, and then after that we were required to do a storyboard for factual programmes. Gardens By The Bay is cool, but the more interesting things needed entrance fees :(
CPD test. Section 1 was fine. Very rushed. A lot to write. The second section was extremely frustrating. Given a beginning and end of story which did not make sense and we had to write a middle. I wrote a retarded story about this girl who asked a carpet-maker to make a wicker husband. She asked a lawyer to spread a rumour that the presence of the wicker husband is a curse and anyone who saw it had to throw away their most valuable possessions. It was all a ploy to get the villagers' stuff. The carpet-maker betrayed her and somehow they all ran away.
Met up with Jt after that to go to the gym and have dinner. Chatted about stuffs while having dinner in 7-eleven. Marshed potato and cup noodles. *Licks lips* Been quite long since we seriously chatted, I think. Sometimes I feel that my friendships are slowly becoming superficial.
But from time to time, high levels of light-hearted idiocy is fun.
