This is the last Friday of this term break. I really don't know how I'm going to cope with the second half of this semester; There's quite a lot going on. Two CAs per module, that haunted house thing, added to those stuff which I needed to go last term. But I guess I'll somehow manage, and hopefully I'll have some fun in the process. This week was the most eventful out of the three weeks in the holiday.
Laser Tag
Last Sunday, my classmates and I went to East Coast Park to take part in this laser tag game. We were against two families. Played 4 rounds, of which 3 of them I was completely useless o.o But it was fun. This was also my first time doing laser tag, and it was kind of like what I expected. There was one kid with rather good sportsmanship and another who was just rude and uninnocent. Mark treated us after that at some Italian restaurant (which had a T-rex for mascot - just saying). Then there was his kids' playroom or something which some of us wanted to enter but was rejected due to our age :/
Mark, Avelin, and Joey went off after that, and then the rest of us went to cycle. We were tired after the cycle, but we went to parkway parade to walk around and enjoy the aircon. Walked around in Giant, and then I headed home to have dinner while the rest of them met up with Cong Han, I think?
Movie
Monday - Went to swim with Jt in the morning. Did not get the tan I wanted. Hanged out in Bishan Park while waiting for Guangyi to get ready. Got a stupid tan, and now I have rather obvious tan lines -.- They accompanied me to Wheelock place to get the Apple people to check my laptop, which I'm going to rant about later. Got some instructions from them and then headed off to Yishun for The Dictator. And I realise that I forgot to ask them about the red line across my screen which I've got used to :(
At Yishun, we decided to watch the movie at Amk instead. I forgot why. Ate the used-to-be-orgasmic carrot cake which now became only averagely nice. So we watched The Dictator, which was really funny. It was my first M18 movie, so the bold use of sexual organs as jokes was hilarious.
Sentosa
On Wednesday, my classmates and I went to Sentosa to celebrate Wai Meng, Pascal, and my birthday as well as just have fun. Shopped for snacks and drinks in Cold Storage and walked on the boardwalk towards Sentosa. Reached Siloso Beach at 2+, and remembered that we did not have any ball, frisbee and so on. Went here and there and realised that hardly anywhere in Sentosa sold those stuff. Finally found two such shops and bought them; one was even at Palawan beach.
Played frisbee monkey and Captain's Ball. Captain's ball was fun. I think we played 3 rounds. Swam around and threw people into the sea. In the end, only Zi Wei and Joey were dry. Washed up, and headed back to Vivo for dinner plus walking-around. Returned home after that.
CASS-carnival preparation
The next day, we went to Arab Street to shop for cloth for the haunted house, but decided that it was too expensive, so we settled for tarb/canvas instead. Since the people with the important materials couldn't make it, we decided that we can't do much that day, so we just walked around a little at Haji Lane. Chatted till evening in the foodcourt, and then went home.
So that's that. I was so annoyed at my computer because the AirPort card thing had a problem and the instructions that were given to me by the Apple people didn't seem helpful. And construction workers/their manager/whoever just decided that today would be a good day to do some drilling right outside my house. Really frustrating. But now, finally, my laptop's internet is working again :D
