I feel kind of tied up when I look at my calender. Recently I needed to keep referring to it because I kept making appointments with people and there's also the weekly tuitions to give. I won't say I'm very busy, but I'll say that it's not my usual level of planned schedule.
Monday
Met up with Stefanie, Avelin, and Joey in Bishan with them for Mata Thai. Pretty good food in my opinion. Joey told us more hilarious stories and these hilarious stories kind of made Stefanie interested in Joey's job. Walked around in Junction 8, and according to them J8 has quite a lot of stuff. Stefanie, as usual, was getting all excited about macarons. She used up 2 library cards for her maraon books o_o Which is 16 books?
Tuesday
Met up with Zi Xing and Guang Yi to accompany Zi Xing to buy clothes for his Japan trip. I want to go Japan too D: Walked around in Kinokuniya and Art Friends as well. During this time, I was actually planning and calculating the stuffs I want to buy when I receive my various pays. Then I'll go shopping.
Wednesday
In the afternoon, had lunch at Braddell with Guang Yi before heading to the airport with Joshua to fetch Jt back from Thailand. Heard some pretty interesting stories about the people there. Headed to Bishan to rejoin Guang Yi while he shops for ingredients for a steamboat later on. Wei Jian and his girlfriend Jessica joined us halfway. I didn't talk much to Jessica, though.
Went back to Guang Yi's house to slack. Since we weren't really doing anything, I rushed the editing for the StereoDADPical video. After waiting forever for Seng Hwee and Zi Xing to reach, we finally started on the steamboat.
Played cards and stuff. Jt, Jessica, and Seng Hwee had to leave as they were not staying over like the rest of us. Wei Jian, Joshua, Guang Yi, and I just watched movies: Tekken, The Dictator (again), Sadako 1, Sadako 2, and Sadako 0. Tekken didn't appeal to me so I was watching my own laptop :/
Thursday
Had food poisoning or stomach flu (don't know which), so I stayed at home to rest for the whole day.
Others
Finally finished the first cut to the DADP event video, shall rush the rest out once I receive feedback. Recently I played Runescape again and I'm pretty impressed by it. Even though its graphics and stuff are not up there, the gameplay is really in depth. The quests are still interesting and the changes were not overly massive. Old memories returned :D
Tuitions
Also started tuitioning Chu Wen for her English and another guy (don't know his name) for his combined geography.
Have to say teaching English is not easy. I'm quite enjoying the combined geography session but I feel guilty for not being well-prepared enough. Next session I shall make it more productive. And there's only 4 sessions before that guy's O`levels, so I must really assist him, I guess.
The English session is more of guiding her through her weaknesses. Now I know that it's not easy to be an English teacher, which is one of my possible career choice. Seems quite interesting though.
