Eight weeks are over and it's a mere two more weeks to my passing out parade. When I look at it from a distance, it seems like these eight weeks passed really quickly, but of course, from day to day, I'd wished that time would pass faster and these two years will go by in a flash.
Looking back at my Facebook photos reminded me of how long this year had been, and how terribly unproductive, yet at the same time fulfilled, I've been.
It kind of started with the end of my internship (can you believe it?), and then there was the graduation nights for CASS, DTVM, and SP respectively, and then I went to work in a warehouse and quit and then I went to work in Koji Cooks's production as a PA, and then army started, and here I am.
This year, I dabbled a little into the more "unrealistic" stuff, like psychic, alchemy, and stuff like that. By theory, they are fascinating, and sometimes I feel like they work, but because I haven't got deep into anything, there's nothing much to talk about.
Unfortunately, on a slightly darker note, there were two instances that I felt very lost, one because of army and the other because of something sensitive I'll rather not share for now. But they're both over.
So that's about it for the year. I guess the highlights are the Taiwan trip my classmates and I went for, my birthday celebration on a yacht, and Koji Cooks. These are memories I guess I'll keep with me for awhile especially the Taiwan trip.
As for the present, it felt so long since I hung out with my friends. Besides this bookout, the last time I did, I think it was my second bookout, with some of my DTVM people. The subsequent ones were pretty messy, with field camp, re-field camp, off-in-lieu (rescheduled bookouts) and all. But Christmas was great. Had three special meals with my family (tze char, Dian Xiao Er, Jack's Place), watched Night at the Museum 3 with them, met Guang Yi to chill, and met Wei Jian, Jessica, Guang Yi, and Zi Xing for The Hobbits 3, which was such a beautiful movie.
I'm thoroughly satisfied. Perhaps for later's book in, I will feel less depressed. Merry belated Christmas, and Happy New Year in advance.
