Last week, we completed and submitted all our final assignments, and then we had our last DTVM lecture last Friday. The sadness seriously began to sink in during and after yesterday/today's chalet.
It's pretty weird that it is towards the end of the whole course that I began to truly understand my friends. Recently started to miss everyone already, even those whom I thought did not matter as much. These two weeks, especially this chalet, showed me parts of my coursemates that I was unaware of, and I think I finally opened myself up to them as well.
To sum it up, the chalet was great. Went for my job interview first in the morning (thanks so much to Cx for going through so much trouble to help me), and then met Cx and Shannon for lunch before joining the rest to head to the chalet. Cycled, had an epic race to catch King so that Elijah and I could take revenge, played Plants vs Zombies, barbequed (Matin and Elijah were so into pretending to be Gordon Ramsay o_o), swam with Elijah and Matin, realised that there was no pizza left for us, talked, played cards, played werewolf, played with Colin's Ouya, drank a little bit, became a little honest, went night cycling with Jezebel, Elijah, Hazel, Matin, and Colin, and chatted about really embarrassing and/or intense stuffs. And then, we headed back to continue our conversation, they slept and some of us went to play Ouya again, until it was morning.
This afternoon, attended our Melbourne trip briefing and I'm so looking forward to it. Hopefully it's going to be so much fun.
And I guess that'll be it. Then we'll be moving on to internship (which some have already started).
It had been a relatively weird 2.5 years. Everyone changed so much and eventually I guess everyone in the cohort started bonding together really well. I'll always miss discussing characters, filming stuffs, quarelling, trying to calm my group members down before presentations, heart to heart talks, random celebrations, gossiping about newest couples in class, on-location production, FYP, and all the little things here and there. It's quite sad that we were just role-playing our myth 2.5 years ago, and just like that, even our final FYP pitch is over now.
But that's alright. Shall just meet up often. What I've been trying to get at is that it had been pretty fun!
