I think Singapore is kind of powerful. It managed to light up the olympic flame in such a grand and beautiful manner, and then fireworks suddenly come out all around and even out of the buildings in marina bay. They even used water to represent the wings of a phoenix and stuff. I wished i was there to see. I went to watch the rehearsal, but the rehearsal was nothing compared to the actual one, although a bit messy.
