June holidays is coming to an end, but this time, despite spending it meaninglessly like the previous years, i managed to not feel any unpleasant things about it because i kind of enjoyed watching animes almost everyday. o_o
2 weeks ago, which is very long ago, artika and i went to man kit's house to practise FN practical and bake chocolate cake for el's birthday. I took 1 hour to help artika find the ingredients and equipments o_o And then went to do the stuff. It was fun even though i had a rather painful headache, but even the washing up was fun. And we had fun criticising artika's cake together, though it was obviously all joke.
A few days later, we went to shop for groceries with ms ang, and got told "open your eyes and see. Aren't we giving out the brown rice now??" And the next day was practical exam, which was quite a bit of horror and a little bit of fun. The horror comes from the exam stress and the endless screams and the unconstructive crticisms, and the fun came from random discussion about maid putting menstrual pads into soup (which happened to someone), awaiting decoration on food, and taking photos.
My cooked food are:
*Strawberry sponge cake
*Oats cookies(the most successful one)
*Macaroni cheese
*Pineapple rice
The following week had been anime + miscellaneous daily stuff. I watched:
*Wolf's rain: An anime about wolves getting extinct, disguising as humans, and looking for paradise. I didn't finish watching because it was quite dull.
*Azumanga Daioh: I watched this very long ago and thought that maybe i should watch it again, and i did. It's quite a beautiful anime that reflect highschool happiness. About a group of unusual highschool girl's daily lives.
*Mai-hime: About people who are destined to be HiME-s, which is sort of those "super-powers" thing, but it's not lame at all. It's really sad and moody, though the ending was a bit weird.
*Fate/stay night: And anime with an interesting concept but is very unclear because it came from a visual novel. It's quite interesting. Quite.
*Mai-otome: With same characters as mai-hime but with different roles, this is an anime with a different story as mai-hime but has a more clear but confusing storyline. It's interesting showing a queen's pain, conflicts, jealousy, hatred, etc.
Animes are nice :D
Today was fun as well; went to meet ping cheng, my cousin, with my brother for swimming and basketball. Swimming is fun but it's more enjoyable if it's not in bishan, somehow. But, sadly, it rained halfway and we began talking about poly stuff and videos, scripts, stories. Went to ping cheng's house after that and got tickled a lot by his cousin's girlfriend's dog, which was quite fun. Went to eat, then went upstairs to play blackjack for awhile because the floor was too wet for basketball. After that, played 'cop and thief', includes 3 cards, lots of winks, lots of pointing, and lots of ridicule. Went to play basketball after that, and he taught us some stuff.
It's been quite long since we met, so perhaps that's one reason for the fun today. It'll be good to laugh without mind and shame like that often, but holidays is coming to an end, and that means o`levels is finding it's route to us, and it'll sprint to us soon :( which means study, study, study. But after that, we'll be free. Must push on.
