Production Week 4

It felt so long I thought that it's been almost a month since I last blogged, although I've yet to even write in detail about what I do in my internship, but I guess that's unnecessary.

So in the past month, two newer interns joined us and it had been really fun, but then they left two weeks later because their internship duration was really short. But of course, because we were having too much fun as interns, my assistant director (AD) was kind of strict about what we do.

Something else that happened was that the director for the second half of the production (this production is split into two halves) took over for two days and it was stressful and fast-paced. I got to compare the difference in the two directors' styles, which was extreme. If you watch the show, you'll be able to see a big difference in the style.

I also bought an iPad during this one month. And I also got my pay.

So far, I guess I'm still surviving pretty well. There are stories I would love to share here but I shall just keep them to myself.

I don't really have much to elaborate, so I shall just summarise 10 random things that occurred to me during internship;

1. I've experience some different kinds of excursion bus/taxi drivers, and jumped onto a not-so-nice conclusion that drivers are generally frustrated. This means that being a driver suits me.
2. I'm greatly inspired to write and direct. Going to create and film a web series after internship ends.
3. I learnt that I can't put bitter-gourd into bee hoon because they don't go well together. My first director keeps complaining about it o_o
4. I guess I'm no longer afraid of speaking to strangers. That's a good thing, I guess.
5. The team and I have successfully managed to piss many of NYP's students off. We asked them to go away and shut up quite a lot. In a nice way.
6. "Yay, I just need to buy 20 packets of food today~"
7. "Yay, I get to wake up at 6am~"
8. I got to experience the true meaning of hypocrisy.
9. Whenever we put dried chilli, chilli, and garlic at four corners of a field, it doesn't rain.
10. Production had been fun and the team had done lots of crazy and interesting things for its sake.
