Belated Birthday Cake for Wei Jian

Today's purpose was to go to wei jian's house to give him a belated birthday surprise, and then study. But, that didn't happen as planned. Woke up at 9am and pushed the snooze button twice, but my room was mysteriously and intolerably cold. I think i'm down with flu again, :( but just took medicine and hoped that it would just last for today. After finally awaking, i went to take a shower and then headed out to meet melvin, guang yi, zi xing, wai min and ru wen at j8's nutc. I actually reached punctually at 10am, but somehow i was the last one to reach. So, went to shop for cup noodles and got a lighter and some tidbits so that we could eat while studying. After that, went to wei jian's house, and surprised a sleepy and reactionless wei jian with the cake. He then lead us in with his seldomly-occuring peaceful attitude, and we started revising, which actually greatly impressed wei jian's dad. So, study and then ate cup noodles, and then played blackjack for a very short while, and then studied again, even though most people were playing or sleeping. Then we started getting impressed with wei jian's massaging armchair and used it. At first it was quite itchy and irritating, but it ended up being comfortable. Somehow ended up playing mahjong, and then went downstairs to play after that. Went to this not so big but rather impressive neighbourhood playground and enjoyed a really unusal see-saw, and then swang at the swing and stuff. Really miss swings :) Played hide-and-seek in the block, and then ru wen had to go. We initially wanted to go with her, but somehow ended up not doing so. So we continued playing in the end and ended the day without much studying. But it's a good break from days and days of studying, so perhaps it's a good thing. Now i just need to modify my studying time plan.
