I have positive memories with my grandpa. He fetched me to and fro school in kindergarten and sometimes in primary school. He was always patient and relaxed, and he never seemed to lose his temper. However, as he grew old, he got infected with diabetes and his legs started getting damaged. He could not walk and he stayed at home all the time. And then after that, his condition got worse and he had been hospitalised for the longest time. But recently, he had passed away peacefully, in a slow but comfortable death.

Rest in peace, grandpa :)

So for the majority of last week, my family had been at grandpa's wake, taking care of it and collecting bai jing (condolences money?). Kind of got used to the routine of getting up early, bringing a cup of coffee to the void deck, and spending time all the way till night, and then waking up to repeat the routines. So I actually used the time to catch up on TV and stuff.

The funeral took place last Sunday. We went to pray for him again just this morning.

Anyway, thank you for those who showed their concern. I'm really grateful for Zhao Yi, Mei Jun, and Stefanie, for reminding me of the technicalities of LOA, helping me catch up on school, and keeping my stuff for me. And I'm grateful to Wai Meng too for his condolences, and for Jasmine, Zi Xing, and Wei Jian for visiting.

I'm alright, so don't worry. Thanks so much for your concern, but everything's okay. My grandpa's death was a positive thing for him. He's went up :)
